KK Escapade - Pt 1

05.00 am - Itinerary started with Suboh prayer at Masjid Kg Junjungan.

Convoy 1 - Suzanah's family

Convoy 2 - Jose's family

Convoy 3 - Pol's family

Convoy 4 - Sam's family with Bapa Pehin & Mama Datin

06.10 am - 300m to Brunei Border @Kuala Lurah CIQ

06.40 am - Immigration Brunei

06.50 am - Approaching Sarawak border @Tedungan CIQ

08.25 am - Sarawak exit @Limbang CIQ after 1 hr break at Limbang

Ferry queue to cross Sg.Temburong

08.35 am - Ferry Temburong

08.45 am - Entering Brunei border Temburong @Puni CIQ

09.00 am - Brief stop at Tamu Temburong for the famous Wajid Temburong

09.10 am - Awaiting the back convoy at Negalang Fuelling Station, Temburong

Quick screen clean-up for a good bright view.

09.40 am - an hour and a half queue at Trusan after exiting Temburong @Labu CIQ.

10.50 - still the long queue for ferry crossing at Sg. Lawas

11.00 am - Entering Sarawak @Mengkalap CIQ for passport chop.

11.15 am - Brunch at gerai Mangkalap/Lawas CIQ

Lunch at Mangkalap CIQ

11.50 am - 50mins break at Mangkalap

12.15 am - Loo stop at Lawas market

12.30 am - Passing Merapok

01.00 pm - Exiting Sarawak @Merapok CIQ, Entering Sabah @Sindumin CIQ

1.20 - 2.00 pm - Passing Sipitang - Mesapol - Weston - Beaufort

2.15 - 3.00 pm - Passing Kuala Penyu - Membakut - Kimanis - Papar town

3.00 - 3.45 pm - way to the capital city of Sabah Kota Kinabalu
pass Kinarut - Penampang - Putatan - Lok Kawi Camp.

3.45 pm - arrived Promenade Apartment where we stayed.

DAY 1 (18Dec08) - The journey from B.S.B. - K.Lurah - Limbang - Temburong - Lawas - Merapok - Sindumin - K.Kinabalu
